Ilona Molnar – Mediator

Conflict – Discussion – Agreement
What is mediation?
Mediation is regulated by Act No. 55 of 2002.
Mediation is a specialized alternative conflict resolution method that enables disputes to be settled peacefully, quickly, and effectively. This process requires the involvement of an external, impartial, and unbiased professional, the mediator. The mediator does not act as an arbitrator and does not provide advice or suggestions; instead, they assist the parties involved in the conflict to understand their differences and guide them toward an agreement that is ideal and acceptable for both sides. Mediation concludes with a written final agreement.
In mediation, there are no winners or losers; both parties emerge from the conflict as winners. The mediation process can take place in a single session or, in more complex cases, over three sessions, but according to legal regulations, it must be concluded within a maximum of four months. If the parties still fail to reach an agreement by then, the mediation process ends without a resolution.
A mediation session lasts a minimum of one and a half hours and a maximum of three hours.
About me
I am Ilona Molnár, a certified facilitative and transformative mediator.
(Ministry of Justice Registration Number: T/003527)
As a university English teacher and marketing communication specialist, I have been working with people, particularly in the field of communication, for over 25 years. Additionally, I am the mother of two wonderful teenage children.
I have a deep interest in human relationships, behaviours, and the responses to them. Through extensive self-development, I came to the realization that my experiences equip me to help others, which led me to the field of mediation.
Conflicts are inherent in many areas of life, and I have personally encountered several - divorce, child custody, parent -teen conflicts, inheritance, and workplace issues. I have always aimed for resolution, passionately believing in the power of words and empathetic communication. I am convinced that through understanding and empathy, perspectives can converge, and conflicts can be resolved.
As a mediator, I offer a secure bridge that guides parties towards peaceful, mutual agreements, where instead of overcoming one another, a win-win situation is achieved. However, this requires a willingness to agree from both parties. The bridge alone is not enough; both sides must commence the journey. Ideally, the parties meet halfway, but it is OK if the meeting point is not exactly in the centre, as long as they come together and continue their journey from there together or separately, but in peace and agreement.
